RothLochston is currently recruiting a Project Coordinator to join the team in Paradise, NL. This position may require occasional travel to local project sites. This opportunity will enable you to play a key role in a fast-paced operations team, collaborating with individuals across all areas of the business. Multi discipline experience will be considered an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Foster and uphold company values by contributing to a safe, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor construction productivity and identify trends or budget deviations; communicate findings to the Project Manager.
- Track daily project progress and relay updates to the Scheduler/Planner.
- Conduct material take-offs, source pricing, evaluate productivity rates, and estimate required labor hours.
- Assist in identifying and managing appropriate project resources based on skillsets and requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Proactively identify risks to project timelines or budgets and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Assist in planning and preparing materials for internal and client-facing project reviews.
- Support scope change management by assessing impacts on schedule and budget and coordinating documentation accordingly.
- Coordinate project-related issues across relevant departments and with client stakeholders.
- Facilitate procurement activities, ensuring all vendor and supplier transactions adhere to company policies.
- Collaborate closely with field personnel to ensure alignment between operational needs and project objectives.
- Contribute ideas to enhance business processes with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Participate in training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
- Assist with the development and execution of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Support construction work pack preparation.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and manage involvement of critical vendors.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of turnover documentation.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, Certified Engineering Technologist, Journeyperson trade certification, or a combination of academic training and relevant experience deemed equivalent.
- Prior experience in Project Controls is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of construction and project management principles, with the ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, and civil drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experienced with software such as Adobe/Bluebeam and CAD applications.
- Demonstrated competency in budgeting, estimating, project planning, cost control, and analytical reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and proposals to a wide range of stakeholders, from senior management to trades personnel.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
