Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre Inc. has an opportunity available for a Sport Administration Intern
to join our team!
This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (college
or university) and is a required component of their academic program. Students must be eligible
to complete this internship through their school in order to be considered.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Administration, the Sport Administration Intern will gain
valuable, hands-on experience in sport business administration within a world-class multi-sport
facility. The intern will support a wide range of administrative functions and contribute to the
planning and execution of athletic programming and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily administrative tasks including managing phone calls, emails, scheduling
meetings, and calendar coordination
- Prepare, format, and proofread internal documents, reports, presentations, and
correspondence
- Maintain organized filing systems—both physical and digital—for departmental records
and documents
- Support the Administration team with data entry, tracking, and database maintenance
- Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely and professional
correspondence
- Assist in the planning and delivery of company events, meetings, and sport-related
programming
- Conduct research and compile data to support reports, presentations, and strategic
planning
- Help manage office supplies and inventory to ensure the workspace is fully equipped
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and support ongoing process
improvements
- Support MARCOMPRO initiatives, including event promotion, brand awareness, and
social media coordination
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the overall business
operations of TPASC

- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to ongoing operational
improvements
- Enhance time management, problem-solving, and project coordination skills applicable
to future careers
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program (Business Administration, Event
Management, Marketing, Sport Management, or a related field)
- Legally authorized to participate in a work placement in Canada
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple
tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly skilled in administrative and clerical functions
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new software or platforms as required
- The successful candidate will be required to obtain a vulnerable sector screen check.
Term & Honorarium:
Internship may be 2 or 4 months in duration, depending on your academic program
requirements. Students will receive an honorarium of up to $1,500 upon successful completion
of the internship
Placement Dates & Location:
This internship will take place at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, located at 875 Morningside
Avenue, Scarborough, ON M1C 0C7
Internship term will be May 2026 to August 2026 depending on your academic program
requirements

is operated by a corporation co-owned by the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto. The

It doubles the number of Olympic-sized pools in the Greater Toronto Area. Moreover, with its other features, the Centre is the sole aquatics facility in the region that meets the latest international competition standards and will be the first facility with the required warm-up pool.
