About The Role Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Specialist - Lifecycle Marketing to join our dynamic Insight & Donor Experience team.
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the marketing requirements and for executing against the corporate strategy. In this role you will be responsible for developing creative programs, plans, content and services that supports the execution of Canadian Blood Services’ business goals as well as becoming brand ambassadors for the organization. You will provide strategic advice on the development of approaches and tactical plans to deliver on marketing objectives, incorporating various platforms/channels, advise leadership on marketing issues and lead the development of the marketing strategy, while ensuring accuracy and consistency of messages across the organization.

- Plays a key role in promoting organizational programs and services and in reinforcing Canadian Blood Services' reputation through clear, consistent, and audience-focused communication.
- Leveraging your excellent marketing skills, you will create and implement targeted marketing approaches and content that contribute to achieving key business objectives and strengthening alignment with corporate strategic goals.
- Drawing from your experience, you will support planning, scheduling, and execution of campaigns within the broader donor engagement calendar to ensure smooth rollout by internal and external partners.
- You will contribute to impactful change efforts by monitoring KPI's, provide insights on campaign impact and help optimize future marketing initiatives based on data and performance results.
- Harnessing your superb interpersonal skills, you will build effective working relationships within the organization to ensure messaging, targeting and campaign execution are aligned and consistent.
Desired education and skills
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably in Marketing.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in marketing, market segmentation, business, advertising or communication.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Technical skills including content management software and tools.
- Proven experience developing and implementing creative and effective campaigns/initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with vendors, clients, senior leaders and internal teams.
- Strong presentation skills; strong persuasion skills and ability to sell ideas.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What you can expect
- This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at a Canadian Blood Services office location 40% of the time/2 days of the week.
- Shift/hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, 7.5 hours a day.
- Travel requirements - occasional travel will be required for team building and training.
