YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Business Improvement, you will be part of the Regional Finance & Strategy department. You will be supporting the implementation of a Business Improvement program across our Ontario operations, utilizing the Lean Six Sigma methodology. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Support the implementation of the Business Improvement program for Ontario, that utilizes the Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Engage with site leadership and department managers to identify areas of opportunity and develop plans for sustainable improvement
- Monitor projects and report on performance to aid site leadership in decision-making
- Provide coaching to Lean Six Sigma leaders and support project implementation to ensure success
- Conduct root cause and problem-solving activities as required
- Support the development of project business cases and value propositions
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum of five years’ experience driving improvements through continuous improvement tools and concepts or strong project management experience
- Experience facilitating meetings and workshop events across different levels of an organization
- Experience with data analytics (PowerBI, Tableau, Minitab) and ERP applications (SAP, JDE) is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is essential
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven commitment to safety, health and environmental best practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Mining or resource industry exposure is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule:

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
