Pay Rate: $28.40/hour + Monthly Bonus + Signing Bonus

Responsibilities
As a Body Shop Estimator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process, ensuring accurate estimates and a seamless experience from appraisal to vehicle delivery.
Customer Service & Vehicle Appraisals
Welcome customers in a professional, friendly, and positive manner Perform detailed vehicle damage inspections and appraisals Prepare accurate and comprehensive collision repair estimates Clearly explain repair procedures, timelines, and available options to customers Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the repair process Estimating & Repair Coordination Create repair estimates for customers, insurance providers, and internal departments Ensure all repair operations, touch-ups, refinishing, polishing, and customer requests are included in estimates Accurately document repair details, conversations, and customer instructions within estimating systems Process supplemental estimates ("additionals") promptly to prevent delays Coordinate repair workflows with technicians and internal departments Parts & Scheduling Management Order required parts and maintain accurate ordering documentation Schedule repairs once all necessary parts have arrived Monitor repair progress and proactively communicate updates or delays Coordinate vehicle delivery timelines with internal teams Insurance & Relationship Management Maintain strong working relationships with insurance companies and partners Communicate repair updates and estimate changes as required Follow up on pending or unsold estimates to maximize conversion opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator, Collision Estimator, or Automotive Damage Appraiser Strong working knowledge of Mitchell and Audatex estimating systems Excellent computer and estimating software skills Strong understanding of collision repair processes and insurance procedures Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities Strong sales aptitude and customer-focused mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and repair requirements High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
