About the role
Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our inspection division sales team to develop new inspection business as well as maintaining our existing clientele. You will also estimate contracts following inspections made by our technicians for adding and/or replacing fire alarm, sprinkler and portable extinguishers systems. Among other things, your responsibilities will be to :
- Gain new service and inspection business;
- Meet with clients to identify their needs in terms of fire protection and/or fire alarm systems;
- Renew inspection contracts and set up service agreements;
- Prepare work estimates and follow-up on quotations;
- Elaborate a work calendar if necessary;
- Ensure an after-sale follow-up with the customers;
- Manage client relations and provide excellent customer service.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in fire protection, building mechanics or sprinkler system installer certification;
- 3-5 years’ sales experience in the fire protection and fire alarm contracting business;
- CFAA certification (an asset);
- Ability to rapidly understand customers’ needs;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Team oriented;
- Past field experience;
- Valid driver’s license.
