About the role
As the superintendent, human resources, you will provide leadership, guidance and direction in the areas of human resources and administration for the Blind River refinery through accurate interpretation of all relevant legislation, corporate and site policies.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the application and administration of employee relations programs and procedures.
- Coordinate operational workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic direction for the operation.
- Act as a liaison between the site, workforce, leadership and Corporate by providing direction for HR programs and ensuring compliance.
- Lead human resources and administrative support services.
- Foster a positive work environment.
Required:
- bachelor’s degree in human resources or business; and
- a minimum of 10 years of applicable HR experience
Recommended:
- Certified Professional HR (CPHR) designation

Blind River is situated on the North Channel of Lake Huron on the Trans Canada Highway, midway between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This position is not eligible for a remote work arrangement.
