Roles/Responsibilities

• Lead the AI-PDLC: Drive the lifecycle from initial research and grounding to production-scale agent deployment.
• Spec-Driven Implementation: Author and maintain high-fidelity specifications that drive autonomous Agent-to-Agent (A2A) workflows.
• XP Mentorship: Champion AI-Pair Programming and AI-TDD, raising the "AI IQ" of the entire development organization.
• Architecture & Orchestration: Design complex multi-agent systems using LangChain and CrewAI, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise Java/Spring backends.
• Context & Dataset Engineering: Manage the retrieval architecture (MCP) and grounding datasets to ensure low-hallucination, high-accuracy outputs.

Required Qualifications

• Core: Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring AI.
• Solid Digital Engineering background including good CI/CD habits; XP/TDD usage, Full Stack development experience preferred
• AI Platforms: Google Vertex AI, Model Garden, and Agent Builder. Understands all ADLC stages and can work independently
• Frameworks: LangChain, CrewAI, ADK/SDKs for agentic development, LLM APIs, RAG
• Tools: GitHub Copilot, MCP (Model Context Protocol), Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone or Vertex Vector Search).
• Cloud AI Platform exposure

Canadian Pay Transparency Statement We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $ 60,300 – 95,500 CAD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
