POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Regional Asset Recovery Coordinator to provide administrative and technical support for the management, control, and disposition of vehicles in the Southern Interior region in BC. This role is hands-on, involves maintaining accurate records, and requires interaction with staff, customers, and buyers to ensure proper processing and compliance.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :

  • Receive, inspect, and verify vehicles.

  • Track, record, and maintain accurate vehicle information.

  • Explain asset management and disposition policies and procedures to staff, customers, and buyers.

  • Enter, edit, and retrieve data using computer applications and databases.

  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and climbing on items as required.

  • Work in varying environmental conditions, including noise, dust, and all weather, when inspecting automobiles.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Previous administrative experience and some related experience in operational support or inventory management are preferred.

  • Knowledge of automobile types, components, and methods for determining their value.

  • Proficiency in using computer applications and databases for record-keeping and reporting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while managing multiple priorities.

  • Physical capability to inspect and handle items safely.

  • First aid certification is an asset.
