We are hiring for multiple seasonal positions, offering a great opportunity to create memorable guest experiences alongside our passionate team all while enjoying beautiful vineyard views each day.
Overview
Reporting to the Venue & Catering Manager, this position is responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all event guests. As well as ensuring patrons have an enjoyable experience by providing efficient service to all guests, including complete product knowledge of all food and beverage menus, enthusiastic and accurate guest interactions, and ensuring the event space is clean and orderly throughout each shift.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, execution and teardown of events.
- Bartend and/or serve food as required.
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu and beverages being served as well as Ravine’s restaurant and retail offerings.
- Positively contribute to the achievement of the team objectives and goals.
- Tasks include but are not limited to, polishing dishware, setting tables, prepping the bar, greeting and ushering guests, serving and cocktailing and setting up tables and chairs for events.
- Provide quality service to the guests with a memorable experience.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines set forth by Ravine.
- Maintain cleanliness in the event spaces.
- Strict adherence to all sanitation policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience.
- Smart Serve Certificate.
Preferred Skills
- Communication: This position requires excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills.
- Customer Service: Willing to go above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction; personable.
- Multitasking: Must be able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks while providing the best possible service to guests.
- Adaptability: Able to accept changing conditions and new information in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical: Will be required to go long periods without rest, occasionally lift or move objects over 50LBS, some events will take place outdoors.
Schedule
- Able to work daytime, evening, weekends, weekdays and holidays as required.
- Part-time, flexible and changing work hours, shifts over 8 hours as needed.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $17.60
- Included in our controlled tip system.
