PepsiCo Beverages Canada - Full-Time Millwright
The Role:
The
Maintenance Millwright
will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance. Responsibilities will include welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, PLC, etc. To learn more about the work you’ll be doing as a Millwright at PepsiCo, please follow the link:
Compensation:
- This is a full-time position that requires open availability including weekends.
- $42.65 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities

- $10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance.
- Responsibilities will include welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, PLC, etc.
- Only resumes that state that they have a Millwright Red Seal will be contacted for an interview.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate
- 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is an asset
- Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment
- Strong mechanical background
- Must be able to read and write English as there is possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work
- Cost exposure to the company is greater than $1,000
- Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools
- Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility
- Must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs
- Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs (with the aid of a mechanical device)
- Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
