About Us:
Western Community College is dedicated to delivering high-quality education that equips students with the skills and certifications needed for career success. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and engaging instructor to teach our Accounting and Payroll Compliance Professional program, which includes three National Payroll Institute (NPI) designated Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) courses. Position Overview:
The instructor will be responsible for delivering course content, supporting student learning, and ensuring alignment with NPI requirements for the PCP designation. This role requires both subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching adult learners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and facilitate three PCP-designated courses as outlined by the National Payroll Institute.

  • Deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and activities that support student learning outcomes.

  • Provide academic guidance, feedback, and assessment of student progress.

  • Ensure all course content meets the standards and guidelines set by the National Payroll Institute.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student communications.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or PLP Designation from the National Payroll Institute.
  • Current member of the National Payroll Institute in good standing.
  • Minimum two years of related, professional payroll experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous teaching or training experience in payroll or accounting.
  • Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and online teaching tools.
  • Additional payroll, accounting, or HR-related certifications.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 5 PM to 9 PM
