Job Summary
The Manager, Technology Quality Documentation is responsible for managing a team of Technical Publications Editors/Specialists and Technical Review Specialists in the design, development, review, validation, and production of technical documentation

In this role you will:
- Lead the planning, development, and improvement of documentation systems across the Technology organization.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and international standards (e.g., ICAO, CARs, ISO, RTCA) and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive quality initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and compliance across departmental services and products.
- Manage change as documentation practices evolve, supporting adoption across Technology teams.
- Develop governance tools and frameworks that align with corporate policies and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other business units to design tools and training programs that support documentation and quality excellence.
- Monitor trends, assess risks, and track performance metrics to guide evidence-based improvements.
- Oversee team operations, including budget planning, resource management, and capacity forecasting.
- Foster a positive team culture through coaching, mentorship, and performance development.
What you bring:
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in documentation/publication.
- Experience gained through working in an ANS environment.
- Experience in UI/UX.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team, including related financial and human resources.
- Managing large projects.
- Experience in project management.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- In-depth knowledge of technology processes, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online, PowerBI, and other business tools.
- Knowledge of change management, strategic planning, project management, budgeting and compliance management principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of technical writing and publication practices.
- Knowledge of principles of layout and design in order to develop a wide range of published materials.

Working Conditions:
- Office environment working among peers and colleagues.
- Process and detail-oriented position requiring prolonged periods of increased focus.
- Frequent attendance of meetings, both in person and virtually.
- Travel will be infrequent.
- This position is a hybrid position with a minimum – 3 days per week on site.
