About the Account Manager Role We're looking for an experienced, driven, and strategic Montreal-based Account Manager to lead a portfolio of client accounts while overseeing integrated public relations, influencer marketing, partnership, and experiential campaigns from strategy through execution.

This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership. You'll lead client relationships, develop and execute impactful campaigns, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with agency senior leadership to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities

Client & Account Ownership Lead the day-to-day management of a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Take ownership of account deliverables, timelines, budgets, and overall campaign execution. Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, strategic thinking, and exceptional client service. Anticipate client needs, identify opportunities to add value, and ensure KPIs and campaign objectives are consistently achieved. Monitor account budgets, scopes, and project timelines, proactively identifying and communicating any potential risks.

Strategy & Campaign Leadership Develop and lead integrated public relations, influencer marketing, partnership, and event strategies tailored to each client's objectives. Lead the planning and execution of product launches, media events, influencer activations, press trips, partnerships, and experiential campaigns. Develop creative campaign concepts, story angles, and strategic recommendations that generate meaningful results. Oversee media relations, influencer engagement, and campaign execution from concept through completion. Analyze campaign performance and deliver strategic reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.

Team Leadership & Development Mentor, support, and develop Account Executives, Account Coordinators, and interns. Review work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure a consistently high standard of quality across all client deliverables. Assist with onboarding and training new team members while fostering a collaborative, positive team culture. Help prioritize workloads and resources across accounts to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.

Additional Responsibilities Support the development of proposals, presentations, and new business pitches. Stay ahead of industry trends, media, influencer, and social media landscapes to bring fresh opportunities to clients. Attend media events, influencer activations, press trips, and client events, including occasional evenings and weekends. Ensure all client-facing materials meet Rose PR's high standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism. Travel as required for client projects. Support agency initiatives and special projects as needed.

Qualifications: 4 years of experience in lifestyle public relations within an agency environment. Fully bilingual (English & French), both written and spoken. Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and serving as the primary client contact. Strong experience developing and executing integrated PR, influencer marketing, partnership, and experiential events & campaigns. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing press materials, media pitches, client communications, and presentations. Strong understanding of the Canadian media and influencer landscape, with established relationships with key media and influencer contacts. Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think strategically, take ownership, and make sound decisions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Experience with PR and influencer platforms such as Meltwater, Muck Rack, Lefty, MRP, and CoverageBook. Willingness to travel and attend client events, media events, activations, and press trips, including occasional evenings and weekends. A passion for lifestyle brands, creativity, relationship-building, and delivering exceptional results. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is considered an asset.
