Role Description The Online French Teacher role at YouLearnt is a remote position focused on delivering engaging, interactive French lessons to learners through the company’s virtual classroom tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting live classes, preparing and sharing digital learning materials, designing quizzes and assessments, and monitoring learner progress. The role also involves providing individualized feedback, adapting teaching methods to different proficiency levels, and collaborating with the YouLearnt team to improve the online learning experience. The Online French Teacher is expected to maintain a professional, inclusive classroom environment and use the platform’s features to support participation and retention.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in French Teaching and Tutoring, with the ability to instruct learners at various levels. Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Education, including lesson planning, assessment design, and classroom management in an online setting. Candidates should possess experience or training in Teacher Training, demonstrating familiarity with modern pedagogical methods and continuous professional development. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clear and accurate use of French and English. Candidates should possess the ability to use digital tools for live teaching, including video conferencing, content sharing, and online quizzes. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field, or recognized language teaching certifications (e.g., FLE) are beneficial. Experience teaching online or in blended learning environments, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered instruction, are highly valued.
