Position Overview The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the assessment and modernization of its enterprise data ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving PSAC’s data infrastructure to support reliable, secure, and efficient information management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive inventory of systems that store or process critical organizational data.

Map data flows and integration patterns between existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and standardization.

Assess data accuracy, completeness, and integrity , providing recommendations for improvement.
Evaluate the current APIs, middleware, and scheduled integrations in use across platforms.

Develop and recommend a data cleansing and reconciliation strategy to ensure consistency and quality.

Identify and document technical and business dependencies impacting data management and integration.

Assess legacy VM-based systems for readiness and suitability for migration to modern SaaS and PaaS infrastructures.

Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to align data architecture initiatives with strategic objectives.
