JOB SUMMARY

Primary duties of this position are to assist in the packaging and processing of shipments. 

 

COMPENSATION 

$20.00 per hour plus benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment
  • Maintain an organized shipping environment
  • Keep shipments on schedule
  • Any other duties as directed by supervisor or management.

 

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

 

METRICS

  • Package Handling - Employee must maintain standard packaging procedures that assure accuracy, while adjusting the volume of work.
  • Packaging counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard. Employee must continue to maintain accuracy throughout the month for the bonus program.
  • Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of the orders packaged and his/her performance level as measured against volume demand.
  • Employee will need to average 21 points per, 120 boxes per day.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

     Not applicable.  This position has no direct reports.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

  • Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
  • Monthly reviews – Employee will be given a brief written monthly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
  • Annual Reviews – Monthly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.

 

WORK SCHEDULE

This is an hourly position.  The schedule for this position is 9:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch.   Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies.  Employee is required to be available for additional time as needed.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The environment is a shipping area.  Dress attire is casual but professional in a shipping setting.  All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.  Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
