Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Sitting.
