Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our amazing team working in Transitional Care Units in Pickering the surrounding areas. We’re ready when you are! Under the direction of facility nursing staff, you will perform floor and observational care duties - helping to create an environment that promotes optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12hour shift. This is a Casual position with flexible shifts. Why Join Us

Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate from an Ontario Community College Program;

OR a private career college in Ontario that is registered with and approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities with successful completion of the final examination administered by the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC);

OR an approved Ontario Board of Education PSW Program

Must have clinical and/or working experience as a PSW within the past two (2) years, preferably in LTC/TCU departments

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and N95 Mast Fit Test Certificate

Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), Hepatitis B, Tdap, and COVID-19
-
Proof of negative TB skin test within the past (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years

Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
