About the role
Our client is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure and/or Systems Administration to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to build and manage their infrastructure, with a focus on integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to ensure their systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support for server operations, backups, and restores, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for strategic infrastructure roadmaps, including planning and execution.
- Lead the response to major incidents affecting hybrid cloud platforms, server and storage workloads, or related automation systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement remediation activities to prevent future incidents.
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Online, M365 stack, and modern email infrastructure like SendGrid.
- Administer Microsoft 365 including Teams and OneDrive.
- Manage full lifecycle testing and deployment of Microsoft patches across all environments.
- Support Enterprise Detection and Response (EDR) for enterprise storage and cloud repositories.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server OS and the broader Microsoft Windows Servers Eco-System.
- Manage user and access management within Microsoft Entra ID and third-party integrations.
- Oversee backup solutions, including Rubrik (On-Prem and RSC) and Veritas.
- Implement and manage Azure MFA/SSO/SSPR and PING FED for SSO and SSPR.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SRE, Systems Administrator, or a similar role, with a focus on customer support.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Online and modern email infrastructure.
- Strong experience with M365 administration, including Teams and OneDrive.
- Expertise in full lifecycle testing and deploying Microsoft patches.
- Experience with EDR solutions for storage and cloud repositories.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server OS and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID and third-party integrations.
- Experience with backup technologies such as Rubrik and Veritas.
- Familiarity with Azure MFA/SSO/SSPR and PING FED.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
