What the job involves
- As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report directly to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and you’ll use your excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills to effectively contribute to the organization's overall talent acquisition objectives
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, including position requirements, qualifications, and desired skills
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and hiring decisions
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and key stakeholders
- Use a variety of sourcing channels and recruiting techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates
- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of applicants, including resume screening, phone interviews, and in-person interviews
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms with selected candidates
- Conduct references and other background checks
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes
- Deliver a high-touch, inclusive, and well-communicated candidate experience from first contact through offer
- Ensure recruiting processes are followed consistently and fairly across all searches
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve candidate experience, and increase hiring efficiency
