Decisions Administrator

Our client in the broader public sector is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Decisions Administrator for a long-term temporary assignment.

This specialized role supports a regulatory committee environment by drafting clear, well-reasoned decisions and orders related to complaints, investigations, and registration matters. You will analyze case materials, apply relevant legislation and case law, and ensure written decisions accurately reflect committee findings and legal tests.

You will also prepare for and attend committee meetings, take detailed notes of discussions and rationale, collaborate with legal and professional staff, and contribute to continuous improvement of decision-writing standards and processes.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of legal writing experience, preferably within an administrative tribunal or regulatory environment
  • Strong experience in decision writing and legal drafting
  • Knowledge of procedural fairness and application of legal tests
  • Ability to analyze case law and legislation and translate complex issues into clear written decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
