Our scope ranges from recommending how to use content more effectively to optimizing daily media channel performance and maximizing visibility in eCommerce platforms.

The Search Manager leads the implementation and execution of paid search strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, and DV360. This role is responsible for campaign performance, optimization, and client communication, ensuring that all initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.

Strategic Leadership

  • Support the Client Lead and Strategy Lead in defining and delivering the strategic direction of paid search campaigns.
  • Translate client goals into actionable media strategies and performance plans.

Campaign Management

  • Lead the setup and execution of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, DV360, and Bing.
  • Manage audience research, keyword planning, ad creation, targeting, and measurement frameworks.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on time.

Optimization & Performance

  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns based on performance data and client feedback.
  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve ROI and achieve KPIs.

Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver high-quality reporting with actionable insights and strategic commentary.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Mentor and guide Business Performance Analysts in campaign execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing proactive solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships through clear communication, reliability, and strategic thinking.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a digital performance agency, with a focus on paid search.
  • Proficiency in SEM platforms: Google Ads, DV360 (DoubleClick), Bing Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strategic and proactive approach.
  • Google Ads and Bing certifications (Amazon Ads certification is an asset).
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.

Additional information: The salary range for this position is $80k-$85k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
