JOB SUMMARY
The Territory Salesperson is responsible for all aspects of direct sales and promotion of Allmar products and services to qualified accounts, with a goal to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within assigned territory/market segment as assigned by Branch Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers
- Makes cold-calls and in-person visits to customers
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts, as applicable
- Ensure all contracts have acceptable terms and are sent to H.O for approval, as applicable
- Accurately price all sections of a particular project that Allmar is bidding on
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization
- Supplies management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services for specific territory
- Consult with contractor or customer after sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support and service
- Participates and attends trade show and industry conferences
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Hardware and overhead door product knowledge and experience required
- Cost and budget management
- Strong negotiation skills

- High level of commitment and accountability to get the job done
- Sound understanding of the hardware, door and building, and overhead door construction industry sector
- Overnight travel is required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Sales experience required
- Experience in door and hardware industry is an asset
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), AVAware Quoting System and Navision Sales Order Entry System
- Valid driver’s license required
GENERAL ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Always treat customers and co-workers with dignity and respect
- Willing to work overtime as required
- Willing to perform other jobs as required by organizational demands
- Must be able to work effectively in a team-based collaborative environment
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
