About The Role The Sales Representative at Moncel is a dynamic remote-first role focused on engaging B2B clients across Canada and the United States. This maternity cover position drives revenue through inbound lead conversion and outbound prospecting. You build and maintain professional relationships by phone and email, qualify and nurture leads throughout the sales cycle, and report directly to the President of Moncel. You work independently to exceed sales targets and maximize commission potential in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Qualify and convert inbound and outbound leads using strategic sales methods.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline without direct supervision.
- Conduct proactive outreach through cold calls and multi-touch email campaigns.
- Manage customer accounts, address inquiries, and identify upsell opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key activity metrics.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, reflecting our values in every client interaction.
- Maintain accurate data in the customer relationship management system.
- Demonstrate expert product and compliance knowledge in discussions with customers.
- Adapt quickly to new sales tools and remote work technologies for efficiency.
- Commit to a seamless maternity cover transition and sustain sales momentum.
What You Have
- Proven track record in high-volume outbound prospecting and lead conversion.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to articulate return on investment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to build trust remotely.
- Ability to learn complex compliance requirements and simplify them for customers.
- Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strategic time management to balance inbound inquiries and outbound hunting.
- High attention to detail and integrity in documentation and data entry.
Your Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in B2B sales or a similar role.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commission-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience with sales automation platforms and prospecting tools.
- Strong ability to manage a sales pipeline using customer relationship management software.
- Post-secondary degree or relevant professional training or equivalent experience.
- Remote work experience with proven self-management and accountability skills.
