What can you expect from this position?

As a Student, Transportation Analytics, you will work alongside a team of professionals to help analyze, model, and optimize Toronto Pearson’s parking and ground transportation commercial business. You’ll play a key role in gathering and interpreting data, contributing to strategic development, and utilizing analytics tools to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

As a Student, Transportation Analytics, you will:

  • Provide a variety of administrative and/or technical services to support the business which may include the preparation of data analysis, reports, briefings, business requirements, and memos.
  • Develop spreadsheets, forms, surveys, Power BI and databases to input, track, store and retrieve data.
  • Support the development and coordination of customer marketing campaigns for parking services to maximize online e-commerce sales and conversions.
  • Maintain up-to-date commercial and operating statistics for Parking & Ground Transportation.
  • Support the development and review of monthly and quarterly business and financial performance reports.
  • Support the development of product roadmaps and business transformation plans.
  • Provide assistance and support to staff in a variety of areas, including gathering, inputting, organizing, and interpreting data for reports, presentations, meetings, and/or projects.
  • Audit digital and static customer and partner content and information to ensure relevant and up-to-date messaging for our passengers.
  • Research assignments as needed.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • Enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution - a focus in Analytics, Aviation, Business, or Economics is considered an asset but not mandatory.
  • The ability to take initiative and effectively collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with private and sensitive information.
  • The ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
