Home Instead Richmond is currently hiring Part-Time Care Professionals / Home Support Workers to support seniors in their own homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, helping older adults stay safe and comfortable, and making a positive difference every day.
As a Care Professional, you will provide non-medical support, companionship, personal care, and transportation assistance to seniors throughout Richmond.

Key Responsibilities
In This Role, You May Assist Clients With
Personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene Companionship and meaningful conversation Meal preparation and light housekeeping Errands, appointments, and outings Safe client transportation using your personal vehicle Dementia care and Alzheimer’s support, depending on client needs Accurate care documentation using the WellSky Care App
Qualifications And Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving, home support, or senior care experience A valid Class 5 driver’s licence A reliable personal vehicle available for client transportation Business-use auto insurance, or willingness to obtain it Ability to work a flexible schedule based on client needs Strong communication skills Compassion, patience, and dependability Ability to pass a criminal background check Legal eligibility to work in Canada, such as Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit
Additional Requirements
Must live in or near Richmond, BC Must be comfortable travelling to clients’ homes within Richmond Must be available for a range of shift lengths and times Weekend availability is considered an asset
