Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AZ Driver role based in Mississauga, ON, serving routes across Canada and into the USA. The AZ Driver will operate company trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently, following all highway laws, border regulations, and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation, and communicating effectively with dispatch for route planning and updates. The driver will be expected to manage schedules, adhere to safety protocols, and represent the company professionally at customer locations and border crossings.

Qualifications

Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and 3+ years of verified experience operating commercial vehicles. Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. highway regulations, Hours of Service rules, and cross-border procedures. Strong attention to safety, including conducting thorough vehicle inspections and proper load securement. Ability to maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation with good organizational skills. Effective communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and border officials, and a customer-focused attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed, and to travel long distances. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks where required and to work in varying weather conditions. Previous long-haul or cross-border driving experience is an asset; basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial.
