Make an impact with our National Human Capital team as a Manager. Working with the Senior Director, Talent Strategy, this role will be responsible for contributing to the Talent Strategy through the operational execution of International Resourcing programs with a focus on continuous improvement, client-service excellence, and program expansion. Execution of the strategy will be accomplished by partnering with the National Talent Acquisition team and local Regional Human Capital team members.

Responsibilities
Operational
-
Act as an immigration subject-matter expert supporting International Resourcing, including international secondments, relocation of international hires to Canada, foreign engagements, and hiring of temporary foreign workers

Liaise with MNP’s immigration vendor to manage full-cycle immigration files, including Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA), LMIA-exempt fast track pathways, business visitors, and permanent residency applications

Independently facilitate immigration files

Monitor work-permit expiry dates and oversee associated processes

Communicate status of immigrations files with key stakeholders, including current and/or prospective MNP team members

Provide support and guidance to Regional Human Capital teams on immigration-related matters

Maintain accurate and up-to-date immigration records and reports

Track and submit expenses and invoices related to immigration files
Strategy
-
Contribute to internal process designs and improvements related various International Resourcing programs by identifying improvements/modifications, investigating issues, and supporting change management activities

Review and update internal guidance/documentation to ensure alignment with internal processes and/or immigration legislation

Stay up-to-date on immigration pathways, laws, legislation, and regulations
-
Work closely with Human Capital and Legal to advise on recommendations that ensure compliance and a positive impact our business
Vendor Management

Act as a primary point of contact with various third-parties (e.g., immigration vendors, government bodies, international travel-risk management vendors, relocation service providers, etc.)

Research and/or identify new solutions that can maximize the efficiency and user experience related to MNP’s International Resourcing programs
Skills and Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience supporting immigration; immigration consultant designation an asset
-
Strong technical knowledge of Canadian immigration policies, programs, and procedures
-
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines for a variety of ongoing requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and organizational skills

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
-
Written and verbal French and English language skills due to frequent collaboration with English and French-speaking teams/vendors across Canada and deliverables/case files are in both languages
