Job Title: Stores Clerk
Job Summary:
The Stores Clerk is responsible for maintaining the necessary levels of manufacturing supplies and tools to support production needs. They are required to maintain records of withdrawals and returns of tools. The Stores Clerk ensures that all tools and equipment are in good working condition and meet calibration specifications. The Stores Clerk will order new stock when required.
Responsibility:
Ordering consumables
Preparation of tooling and tool kits as required
Utilize scanning where applicable
Setting up shipments and processing receiving
Follow procedures to prevent inventory discrepancies
Monitoring and organizing regrinding of tools
Follow visual aids for Min/Max level and safety stock levels to ensure target levels are maintained
Participate and follow Physical Inventory Procedures and/or Corporate Cycle Count Program
Academic/Educational Requirements:
Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Skill/Experience:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
