Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): On behalf of our Information Technology client, Procom is searching for a Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Job Description: As the Senior Lead Security Architect for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will lead security-by-design consultative engagements and develop reusable cloud application patterns for OCI. The project involves client-facing assessments, secure-by-design architecture reviews, and ensuring robust security controls in OCI environments.

Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise security-architecture and design reviews for OCI-based solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Perform client engagements including threat modeling, gap analysis, risk assessments, and security-control recommendations.
• Develop and maintain reusable security reference architectures and deployment patterns for OCI workloads.
• Collaborate with application, network, and operations teams to translate business requirements into secure solution designs.
• Advise on and validate the implementation of OCI security services.
• Integrate OCI environments with enterprise SIEM platforms and SOAR workflows.
• Facilitate architecture review boards, design-approval gates, and governance processes.
• Stay current on OCI service enhancements and industry best practices.

Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Mandatory Skills:

• Security architecture and design expertise with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong client relationship-building skills.
• Leadership in developing and implementing technical security architectures.
• Experience across multiple cloud platforms and enterprise security services.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, networking, and security operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
• Clear verbal/written communication, strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management abilities.

Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with frameworks: TOGAF, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SACM.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, OCI CLI/SDK, DevSecOps pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in Agile teams.
• Previous public sector experience.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks: FIPPA, SOC 2, PCI DSS.

Lead Security Architect – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – Assignment Length: This is a contract position from August/September to March 31, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional year.
