About the role
The Cybersecurity BSA is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes and workflows within the platform. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions, ensuring optimal platform performance and alignment with organizational goals.
In this role, you will
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend scalable solutions.
- Design and document workflows and business processes in ServiceNow.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Work with development teams to implement configurations and customizations.
- Participate in testing activities including writing test cases and conducting UAT.
- Support release management and change control processes.
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and ServiceNow developers.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to refine requirements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.
- Administer day-to-day operations of the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure forms, workflows, notifications, and reports.
- Troubleshoot issues and manage patch/release updates.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and configurations.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users.
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor platform usage and performance.
- Analyze data to provide insights into continuous improvement.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- Possess a strong background in Business Analysis and Planning with a focus on strategic alignment.
- Demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices to support business operations.
- Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business improvements.
- Have experience in working in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office tasks.
- Show proficiency in using business analysis tools and software for effective documentation.
- Display strong communication skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Bring a minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis with a maximum of 11 years.
