This remote position is open to all continental states in the US, as well as all provinces in Canada.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional directors and producers.
  • Resolve licensing issues related to onboarding new agents, brokerage general agents, general agents, and wirehouses selling U.S. life insurance products.
  • Identify trends and recurring issues, escalating concerns to management when necessary.
  • Stay up to date with product, industry, service, and regulatory changes through ongoing training.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (New Business, Compensation, Distribution) to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Support the digitization of licensing and onboarding processes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and contribute innovative ideas to improve workflows.
  • Seek opportunities to automate and streamline licensing processes using technology.
  • Analyze licensing data and reports to generate actionable insights.
  • Ensure all licensing activities comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Liaise with carriers and regulatory bodies to resolve discrepancies.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from producers, general agents, and broker-dealers.
  • Deliver high-quality service and ensure timely resolution of complex licensing issues.

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience in audit, compliance, or market conduct examinations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Technical aptitude and experience with licensing platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with U.S. state insurance department requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Current knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Industry certifications such as LOMA, ALMI, or similar.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between

$42,825.00 CAD - $71,375.00 CAD
