About Treasury And Payment Solutions (TPS) BMO’s Treasury and Payment Solutions team delivers customized financial strategies that help businesses optimize cash flow, streamline operations, and support growth. Through close collaboration with clients and internal partners, including the Corporate Finance team, TPS provides tailored solutions that address liquidity, receivables, payables, and risk management.
Key capabilities include:
- Liquidity Strategy & Optimization: Helping businesses manage working capital and maximize returns on cash assets.
- Streamlined Payments & Collections: Offering flexible, automated solutions to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
- Digital Banking & Reporting: Providing 24/7 access to financial data, mobile alerts, and integration with ERP systems.
- Cross-Border & Fraud Protection Services: Supporting international operations with secure, scalable tools.
About The Director Role The Director plays a key role in driving business development and growth through strategic treasury and payment solutions. This role emphasizes close collaboration with the Corporate Finance team across the Prairies to deliver tailored financial strategies that meet client needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading consultative sales efforts to generate new business and deepen existing client relationships.
- Partnering with internal teams to structure deals and close opportunities aligned with client goals.
- Supporting implementation and ensuring timely delivery of treasury solutions.
- Advising clients on cash flow, liquidity, and working capital strategies.
- Promoting adoption of innovative digital products and staying ahead of market trends.
- Ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all client engagements.
This role is ideal for a results-driven senior sales professional with strong collaboration skills and a passion for delivering impactful financial solutions along with new business development. Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or Financial Operations in a corporate or banking environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
Advanced level of proficiency:

Expert level of proficiency:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Business Transaction Management
- Financial Resource Management

Salary: $86,000.00 - $160,000.00
Pay Type: Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
