Located near the shores of Lake Erie in Dunnville, Ontario, BJ Take has been a leader in innovation and custom design throughout North America for over 30 years.
Job Description:
BJ Take is looking for an Engineer to join our growing team. Examples of your work and responsibilities would include:
- Working with the management, manufacturing and engineering teams to improve quality, processes and efficiency
- Product development
- Hands-on work including assembly, testing, and evaluation of designs
- Creating and editing drawings (e.g. 3D models, manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams)
What we’re looking for:
Applicants should be comfortable with using computers and be mechanically inclined. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficient with 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Mechanical Desktop)
- Computer programming experience
- Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
- Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Previous experience in LED light fixture design and production
- Previous experience in quality control management
This is a permanent full-time position in Dunnville, Ontario.
