BJ Take Inc. was founded in 1995. Since 1995 we have grown to become an established manufacturer and designer of energy efficient lighting products. Located near the shores of Lake Erie in Dunnville, Ontario, BJ Take has been a leader in innovation and custom design throughout North America for over 30 years.

Job Description:

BJ Take is looking for an Engineer to join our growing team. Examples of your work and responsibilities would include:

  • Working with the management, manufacturing and engineering teams to improve quality, processes and efficiency
  • Product development
  • Hands-on work including assembly, testing, and evaluation of designs
  • Creating and editing drawings (e.g. 3D models, manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams)

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should be comfortable with using computers and be mechanically inclined. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficient with 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Mechanical Desktop)
  • Computer programming experience
  • Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
  • Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Previous experience in LED light fixture design and production
  • Previous experience in quality control management

This is a permanent full-time position in Dunnville, Ontario.
