The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety provides supervision and rehabilitation services for adult and young offenders, promotes appropriate and effective policing, and supports community and public safety services throughout Saskatchewan.

The ministry is responsible for overseeing Saskatchewan’s correctional system and facilities, protection of people, natural resources and infrastructure within the province of Saskatchewan. The ministry’s goal is to create and maintain safe and secure communities in Saskatchewan. Public safety is of the utmost importance, and the ministry is committed to providing targeted prevention, intervention, and suppression initiatives. The ministry strives to collaborate and work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure community safety.

We are seeking a skilled, service-oriented and proactive professional to join the Central Services branch as an Infrastructure and Support Services Coordinator.

As an Infrastructure and Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for entering and retrieving data using various software programs; maintaining records; responding to customer inquiries; receiving, sorting and distributing mail; and providing reception services.

Our candidate of choice will be a flexible and positive individual who enjoys a fast-paced challenging environment with diverse job expectations. You will have knowledge of the Microsoft Suite Office programs, and will have demonstrated ability to update, maintain, format and transmit information using various software programs with speed and accuracy. Your ability to use tact and diplomacy when serving clients and colleagues will contribute to your success in this position.

Typically, the knowledge required for this position would have been gained through the completion of a high school diploma or post-secondary diploma or equivalent, previous experience with providing administrative support is an asset.
