Join our Fund Services team as a senior leader overseeing daily operations, client relationships, and team development. You’ll manage fund accounting processes, ensure compliance, and drive operational improvements. This role is perfect for an experienced professional ready to lead with precision and elevate client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including NAV calculation, investor allocation, fee computation, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate processing of capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and fund expenses.
- Review and approve fund documentations, reconciliations, and transaction records.
- Manage and develop a team of Fund Accountants, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Allocation resources effectively to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Lead client onboarding and establish fund-specific procedures and controls.
- Address and resolve client inquiries and operational issues promptly.
- Coordinate with auditors, custodians and other third parties to support audits and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, AML/KYC requirements, and industry regulations.
- Review and sign off on reports, schedules, and filings in accordance with compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and client experience.
- Participate in system upgrades, automation initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
- Contribution to the growth and development of local office and broader fund services team.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- At least 8 years' experience working in the fund administration industry and 4 years’ experience in a management role. This can include other administrators, investment managers or fund auditors.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, accounting principles, and investor reporting.
- Experience with fund accounting systems (e.g. Archway, Geneva, or similar platforms).
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
