Your Opportunity: This job is clinical in nature working out of the Strathmore Addiction and Mental Health clinic as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Therapists are responsible for providing assessment/diagnosis, treatment services and follow-up services to mental health clients and their families. Working in a generalist model there is an opportunity to work across the life span offering individual and group interventions. There is also an opportunity to provide clinically focused liaison and consultation with community resources. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Description:
As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience working in a community mental health setting. Familiarity with the resources in the area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference for Connect Care experience.
