We’re looking for an Intermediate Project Specialist to lead and deliver strategic supply chain initiatives that enhance performance, streamline processes, and align best practices across our organization.

Coordinate the planning, development, and execution of supply chain projects.

Apply project management best practices to initiatives that span the end-to-end supply chain.

Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and process optimization.

Build strong relationships across departments to enable seamless project execution.

Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
-
Identify and remove roadblocks throughout the project lifecycle.

Create tools and communications that support change management and stakeholder engagement.
-
Ensure documentation and processes are updated to reflect project outcomes.

Promote consistency across programs and initiatives.
-
Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business).

2–5 years of project management experience in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or shipbuilding environments.

Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Certifications such as Yellow/Green/Black Belt or PMP are considered strong assets.

Supply Chain accreditations (SCMP, MCIPS, ISM) are a plus.

A solid understanding of business operations and our programs is an asset.

A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
