FACILITIES DEPARTMENT:

2 TEMPORARY MAINTENANCE LABOURERS

Are you passionate about keeping our school grounds beautiful and well maintained? If so, we have the opportunity you are looking for.

Hours of work:

  • 10 hours per day, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • 40 hours per week with some weekends
  • schedule may vary; overtime may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain landscaping and outdoor facilities
  • Mow lawns, trim hedges, weed whip, and weed control around school buildings
  • Ensure grounds are clean and safe for students and staff
  • Assist with seasonal tasks and special projects, as needed

Qualifications:

  • A valid Driver’s License
  • A satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check
  • Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

The division is divided into 14 Subdivisions for purposes of representation on the Board of Education.
