About the role
We are looking for a motivated professional, open to exploring new technologies and detail-oriented, to join our IT SOX audit team. In this role, you will report directly to the IT Audit Team Lead and actively contribute to the execution of our Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit program. You will collaborate with various IT, finance, and business teams. This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assessing and testing IT general controls across a variety of applications and infrastructure environments.

You won’t just be ticking boxes—you’ll dive into the core IT processes that support a global organization. As technology evolves, you will evolve with it, developing your skills while deepening your understanding of the SOX framework.
You will perform fieldwork, including documenting control design reviews and testing control effectiveness. Your keen attention to detail will be essential for identifying control gaps and spotting issues others might overlook.
You will build strong professional relationships by collaborating with colleagues, fostering trust, and encouraging knowledge sharing within teams.
You will develop agility by participating in special projects and adapting to changing priorities.
Profile Sought
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in business and technology, computer science, accounting, or related fields
Working toward a professional designation such as CISA or CPA (an asset)
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies
Strong documentation skills—rigor, organization, clarity, conciseness, and accuracy in writing and record-keeping
Oral and written communication in English required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of data analysis tools such as PowerBI (an asset)
Audit experience (an asset)
Basic understanding of ITGCs (an asset)
General knowledge of SAP ERP (an asset)
Interpersonal Skills
