How You’ll Make an Impact
The Institutional Analyst Sr Bilingual provides our Distribution team with the highest level of service possible leading to new investment mandates and outstanding asset retention. This role acts as the central hub for all RFPs and provides support for both consultant databases and customized consultant reporting. Delivering on these requires an ability to work under pressure, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to build strong relationships with internal partners (Distribution, Product, Compliance) as well as global peers (IPMs, Product Managers in the U.S.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Complete RFPs using established process while continually looking for ways to improve the process.
- Facilitate meetings with partners to extract product messaging and positioning.
- Develop relationships with senior investment management (IPMs/PMs) to leverage their experience in client presentations.
- Track, and share response changes, and add to database.
- Follow writing and marketing best practices.
- Product research – identify product strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop messaging to reinforce strengths and rebut weaknesses.
- Participate in monthly internal global RFP/Database meetings to represent Canada and uphold and improve RFP best practices.
- Consultant Databases
- Populate Fidelity data into consultant databases accurately and within deadlines.
- Work with partners to ensure data and messaging are regularly reviewed.
- Respond accurately and promptly to ad-hoc information requests from Distribution team.
- Perform on-going dynamic entity risk assessments and deliver business and integrated audit.
- Customized Client Reporting Support
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly reporting for institutional client.
- Prepare due diligence questionnaires and industry survey.
- Prepare and distribute Compliance Certificates.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners (Distribution, Product, Compliance, Finance) as well as partners outside Canada (Product, Investment management teams).
- Product Knowledge
- Maintain a high level of institutional product knowledge.
- Develop working knowledge of competitive landscape.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- University Degree with a strong financial background, or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingualism in English/French, both verbal and written.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with eVestment, and Preqin is an asset.
- CFA is an asset.

How You’ll Make an Impact
