Job Description
The Account Manager/ Clinical Specialist (Western Canada BC/SK) is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic account plans for high-value IGTD clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving long-term growth. The role fosters deep relationships with senior stakeholders and implements complex sales and clinical initiatives, analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Your role:

Leads the development and execution of strategic account plans for high-value clients, aligning them with business objectives to drive long-term growth. Analyzes market trends and customer data to create innovative strategies for capturing and growing market share within assigned accounts.

Provides pre-sales support and customer education for the Image Guided Therapy Device Product Portfolio through presentations, demonstrations, trials, site visits, trade show support, hands-on end-user training/on-going support, focusing on clinical and technical components of the value proposition. Participates in sales and marketing initiatives, assisting with clinical and technical input for RFPs and communicating competitive advantages.

Works under limited supervision, applying independent judgment to ensure project success and compliance with industry regulations while fostering a culture of impact with care. Develops and negotiates contracts with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial terms that enhance both client and company objectives.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide effective problem-solving, serving as the primary escalation point for key accounts. Maintains strong client relationships through proactive communication, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- You have acquired 2+ years of experience in device/capital hospital sales and/or equivalent experience in a relevant clinical hospital setting.
- Your skills include customer management, clinical expertise, strong technical knowledge and good communication.
- You’re a hardworking self-starter with the ability to execute business objectives.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $63,000 to $99,000 plus company/fleet car. This does not include the target incentive/commission structure. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, DC Pension, Flex Dollars (for HSA/PSA/RRSP), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
