Job description:
A Day in the Life of a Senior Consultant at Esri Canada:
- Work in a collaborative team analyzing customer issues and developing solutions
- Providing expertise in the user needs analysis, estimation, design, development, and implementation of Enterprise GIS solutions
- Chart existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
- Prototype new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in production systems across the organization.
- Working with other consultants in the design and delivery of client solutions from conception to completion
- Scope projects and assist the Project Manager in developing complete project SOW and project plans for all assigned projects
- Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new processes, and other pre/post-implementation support
- Model client requirements and define functional specifications
- Actively participate in the preparation of proposals (e.g. RFPs, RFIs and RFQs)
What you bring to the team:
- University degree in computer science, engineering, math, GIS or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years experience in CAD and BIM integration.
- 5+ years experience with Esri products
- Experience with Autodesk Revit creating and managing 3D models
- Experience with ETL migrating CAD data (DWG, DXF, DGN into BIM/Esri)
- Knowledge of BIM protocols, GIS data governance, and QA/QC processes.
- Demonstrated business acumen to establish and maintain an effective consulting relationship with corporate customers , with a strong customer service orientation
- A sound knowledge of analysis & design techniques and system implementation methodologies
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling
- Experience with requirements documentation
- Demonstrated ability to complete technical studies and to develop and present recommendations and reports
- Experience in managing client relationships and ability to communicate with executive levels of the organization
- Demonstrated awareness of emerging IT trends and directions

Compensation & Benefits:
At Esri Canada, we are committed to fair and competitive compensation. This role offers a base salary range of $100,200 to $114,800 annually determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. We regularly benchmark across a variety of positions, industries and levels to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
