We are currently looking for a multi-skilled talent to join our Red Deer, Alberta team! This position reports to the Marketing and Promotions Director in Edmonton.

As an integral member of our network team, you will work with over 20 radio stations across Alberta, be heard on one of Canada’s Most Legendary stations and be involved in almost every facet of the business.

Your day-to-day

Coordination of promotional, sales and programming campaigns

Manage and maintain promotional prizes and oversee the winner fulfillment process Organizing station events (i.e., trips, grand prize giveaways, movie premieres) On-site activations (i.e., concerts, trade shows, on-air cut ins, live broadcasts, community events) Daily voice track show for CFCW-AM Edmonton Music scheduling, log editing, and uploading programming as required Daily programming support Create, maintain, and manage social and digital content Support listener contests, databases, and station promotions On-air and voice-tracking fill-in when required Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings and station planning.

Weekly production tasks

Oversee the hiring, coaching and supervision of brand ambassadors Attend and participate in weekly meetings and brainstorms Creating wrap up reports for station events, promotions and campaigns Assist in the creation of graphic designs for station and promotional initiatives Overseeing station vehicle maintenance Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

Minimum 3 years on-air experience, remote broadcast experience is an asset

Experience in dealing with the public Detail-oriented Multi-tasker with excellent time management skills Great team player – you thrive in a collaborative environment You know that radio isn’t a 9-5 business, and have the flexibility to make projects happen whenever they need to happen A valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
