About the role
Reporting to the AD, Supply Chain Development, the Manager, Supply Chain Development will be responsible for CANADA BU initiatives as assigned, and will work closely with marketing, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and R&D teams to deliver critical Supply Chain priorities.
##Job Description
· Innovation/ Renovation– Lead commercialization from a Supply Chain perspective to deliver projects on time. Act as liaison and advocate for internal and external manufacturing facilities and operations KPIs. Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing sourcing strategy, partnering closely with procurement. Work closely with R&D, FSQA, Regulatory, Marketing, and the PMO teams. The Manager will be required to report on project performance, flag risks to stakeholders, and create and execute mitigation strategies when necessary. The Manager will be responsible for informing Supply Chain inputs to project P&Ls. Knowledge of import/ export across the Canada/ US border is an asset.
**· Supply Chain Transformation & Network Optimization –**Work closely with internal and external manufacturing facilities to optimize total NA network solutions for top brands. Identify and act as project owner for transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
**· Productivity & Value Engineering –**Identify, track, and champion efforts to improve our products, services, or processes that will streamline work and reduce waste in our manufacturing facilities. Develop pipeline, manage internal tracking tool, challenge factory and stakeholders on project risk, report regularly to leadership.
**· Capital –**Coordinate capital requests as project owners to identify, budget scrub, and implement capital engineering projects at internal and external facilities. Secure funding from internal stakeholders, participate in budgeting, ensure on time implementation and own projects from a cashflow perspective. Working closely with plant and corporate Engineering, CANADA BU business leads, Finance, technical stakeholders, and external vendors.
**· Sourcing Strategy –**Work with procurement to analyze opportunities in make vs buy. Ensure appropriate manufacturing strategy and sourcing solutions (internal and external) are in place to deliver growth and innovation agenda within Canada Zone. Initial and ongoing ownership of sustainable and cost-effective Supply Chain solutions, working with in-network plants as well as future manufacturers.
**· Interdepartmental Communication –**Act as the champion and conduit between Operations planning and the business team, ensuring all operational milestones are achieved. Maintains a superior level of communication between project team members, external manufacturers, internal leadership stakeholders, and vendors.
Qualifications:

University degree in Business, Engineering or Food Science
-
6+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Research and Development; Food or Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience would be considered an asset

Proven Project management experience, minimum 3 years

Experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and Continuous Improvement methodology

Strong people management skills, managerial experience as we as leading without direct influence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working cross functionally across the business

Superior analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
-
Strong presentation and facilitation skills and exposure to senior management
-
Willingness to travel based on business requirements, up to 20-25% to visit partner and internal manufacturing facilities

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$104,200.00 - $130,200.00**Bonus:**This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
