About the role

Our Group Benefits Marketing team delivers innovative digital marketing solutions that promote differentiated health and wellness benefits, services and experiences. Our goal is to empower our customers to live better, healthier lives, and build strong, engaged organizations. Reporting to the Lead Marketing Owner, theMarketing Consultant, Health Marketingwill develop marketing collateral and campaigns, support marketing operations, and execute on digital marketing strategies that engage our members and sponsors. We are looking for a marketer with a flexible mindset, desire to learn, and a thirst for continuous improvement to join our cross-functional Agile marketing go-to-market (GTM) squads. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a diverse skillset who is ready to work collaboratively.

Position responsibilities:

-**Delivering compelling marketing campaigns:**You will be responsible for creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns that support the launch of new products and enhancements. Your goal will be to engage our target audience, help build our brand, and drive awareness and adoption. -Working on the Agile marketing squad:

  • You will actively collaborate with your squad to understand needs and ensure alignment and timely delivery of marketing
  • You will actively collaborate with the Lead Marketing Owner and Agile Leads to enhance delivery efficiency and optimize team processes
  • You will apply Manulife’s GenAI tools to amplify your work and find opportunities to work better, faster, easier
  • You will proactively identify potential bottlenecks or issues that could impact project timelines and escalate as appropriate to ensure continuous improvement
  • You will ensure, with your squad, the backlog is ready for the next sprint
  • You will present work in progress to stakeholders and respond to change to deliver value early and often
  • You will actively participate in retrospective meetings contributing to future improvements
  • You will conduct testing and analyze data to enhance customer value and business outcomes -Crafting positioning strategies: You will play a crucial role in developing positioning strategies that differentiate our products and services in the market. By effectively communicating a differentiated value proposition, you will contribute to brand-building efforts and drive customer loyalty. -Providing support to sales and customer-facing teams: You will collaborate closely with sales and customer-facing teams to equip them with the necessary tools, training, and materials to effectively market our products and services. Your aim will be to empower them to effectively communicate the value of our offerings to customers. -Collaborating with stakeholders: You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and other functions to align marketing efforts and achieve shared goals. By fostering strong relationships and collaboration, you will ensure that marketing initiatives are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives. -Measuring campaign effectiveness: You will be responsible for measuring the success of marketing campaigns and reporting on their effectiveness. By analyzing data and insights, you will drive continuous improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize future marketing efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • University or college degree in marketing, communications, media, or related field of study.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a Marketing role.
  • Understanding of Agile values and principles.
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong ability to create, draft, and edit written marketing collateral that drives awareness, engagement and action.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel, Smartsheet, Adobe Workfront, and Mural.
  • Data-oriented, with experience working within marketing automation and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Seismic) and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Process- and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Solutions-focused mindset.
  • Group Benefits, health care or related industry experience highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between

$70,500.00 CAD - $117,500.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
