The Attractions Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations and fosters positive, productive relationships with both guests and Pack Members. This role supports operations across all attractions, including the Arcade, Bowling, Photo Booth, Virtual Reality, Mini Putt, Crazy Golf, and Laser Tag.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Team

  • Willingness to accept the most effective role.
  • Promotes a safe and professional work environment by adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • Remains productively engaged in additional responsibilities during slower periods to support team efficiency.
  • Close with an open mentality.
  • Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.

Guest

  • Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
  • Assist guests with change, prize redemption, courtesy transactions, and purchasing rounds of golf, ensuring all interactions are conducted with a welcoming and courteous smile.
  • Assist guests with viewing and purchasing waterslide photos. Up-sell packages to interested guests. Use assigned computer to upload, display and print photos.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of games and activities to assist guests, provide helpful tips, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalate technical problems to the Arcade Technician as needed.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service daily across all areas by performs routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and organizing merchandise.
  • Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.

Financial

  • Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with merchandising activities such as product display, store layout, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing.

Qualifications & Traits

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a courteous demeanor.
  • Possess strong mathematical competence.
  • Understand and value the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Bring enthusiasm and a positive, energetic attitude to the work environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching up to and including above shoulder level for duration of shift.
  • Capable of crouching/squatting, kneeling and climbing multiple flights of stairs.
  • Dexterity of the fingers and hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs.
  • Capable of working in a loud and bright environment with flashing lights and black light.
  • Ability to hear for communication with guests, has spatial perception.

Additional Requirements

Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
