Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Health Services, the part-time nurse provides on-campus health care and education to students, staff and faculty in collaboration with the Health Services team. The incumbent provides nursing services in cases of non-emergency, emergency, episodic illness, health counselling and occupational health issues.
The incumbent facilitates the physicians’ clinics, maintains confidential health records and maintains the organizational and supply needs of the medical office.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of four (4) year Bachelor of Science, Nursing degree or equivalent;
- Certificate of Competence from the Ontario College of Nurses required;
- Minimum of five (5) years progressive relevant nursing experience with a preference for experience in family practice, adolescent health, public health, sexual health, emergency or occupational health setting;
- Must have phlebotomy experience;
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Records system – PS Suite by Telus;
- Demonstrated skills as a team player;
- Excellent communication skills – written and spoken;
- CPR required;
- TB Screening Training Course required;
- AED Training required.
Anticipated Weekly Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am – 4:45pm
Start date: June 1, 2026
