Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr Analyst/Credit&Market Risk/Capital Reporting within the enterprise capital management team. This position involves managing the issue intake process, supporting production reporting, and overseeing change management activities. The role offers high visibility and requires collaboration across various internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient capital reporting.
Pay rate range (CAD): $54.84/hr – $65.81/hr
Responsibilities
Manage issue intake process supporting enterprise capital reporting and change management. Participate in prioritization forums to review tickets, communicate upcoming releases, and coordinate with stakeholders. Socialize planning, implementation, and validation of process and rule changes. Coordinate testing of change components with upstream business segments. Assist in emergency incident resolution and provide advice on workaround options and hotfix requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders including Finance, Risk Management, and Treasury to ensure clarity of priorities and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Own SOX processes and controls related to capital reporting. Support review and interpretation of capital regulations to maintain compliance. Maintain understanding of financial markets, banking products, and strategies. Support governance activities and risk identification concerning regulatory capital requirements. Assist in the preparation of capital reports mandated by regulators and senior management.
Desired Skill-Set
Strong knowledge of change management processes and tools like JIRA. Experience in capital reporting, credit or market risk management, treasury, or analytics. Familiarity with financial and regulatory reporting. Strong Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with Alteryx. Knowledge of OSFI guidelines, capital adequacy requirements, and capital ratios (such as CT1, CT2). Understanding of project management methodologies. Exposure to GitHub or similar tools.
